This advanced onboard marine battery charger is 51% smaller and delivers 43% more power, making it one of the best-performing chargers we have ever created. The GEN5X1 is a one-bank onboard battery charger rated at 5 amps for 12-volt batteries, including marine, boat, starter, and deep-cycle batteries.
The GEN5X1 allows for independent charging and control of each battery bank with selectable charging modes. These modes include 12V, 12V AGM, 12V Lithium, and 12V Repair Mode, catering to all types of lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries. An integrated thermal sensor detects the ambient temperature and adjusts the charge accordingly, eliminating the risk of over-charging in hot climates and under-charging in cold climates.
Capable of charging batteries with voltages as low as 1 volt, the GEN5X1 also features an all-new Force Mode, allowing users to manually initiate charging of dead batteries down to zero volts. The charger automatically detects battery sulfation and acid stratification, restoring lost battery performance for stronger engine starts and extended battery life.
This device is more than just a trickle charger; it is an advanced battery maintainer, providing fully automatic, worry-free charging 24/7 without the risk of overcharging.
