This advanced onboard marine battery charger is 37% smaller and delivers 43% more power, establishing itself as one of the best-performing chargers we have ever created. The GEN5X3 is a three-bank onboard battery charger rated at 15 amps (5 amps per bank) for 12-volt batteries, including marine, boat, starter, and deep-cycle batteries.
The GEN5X3 enables independent charging and control of each battery bank with selectable charging modes, including 12V, 12V AGM, 12V Lithium, and 12V Repair Mode. It is compatible with all types of lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries. An integrated thermal sensor detects ambient temperature and adjusts the charge to prevent over-charging in hot climates and under-charging in cold climates, ensuring optimal battery health.
This charger is capable of charging batteries with voltages as low as 1 volt and features a new Force Mode, allowing users to manually initiate charging of dead batteries down to zero volts. It also automatically detects battery sulfation and acid stratification, restoring lost performance for stronger engine starts and extended battery life.
