The Master Pro is a hidden RFID lock, which is equipped with the RFID standard MIFARE®-Classic and has, compared to its predecessor, an LED for optical signals and is equipped with 4 configuration buttons. The housing is made of black plastic and the locking bolt is made of steel and black acrylic. The handy size of 61 x 61 x 22mm offers the possibility of almost any installation situation. The electronic furniture lock works reliably in the temperature range from 0° C to 40° C.
Attention: This is a sale of version 1.0 (production date approx. 10/2021 to 12/2021). This version is identical to the current version, except for the manager card function. The lock can NOT be temporarily opened and closed again in multiuser mode with the manager card. The master card is used for emergency opening, but it cannot be relocked. In 98% of cases, this scope of services is sufficient.
Modes
The transponder lock includes 3 modes, which can be set using the buttons on the lock. Besides the multi-user mode for constantly changing users, there is also the private mode with automatic locking and with manual locking, which is then intended for a fixed group of users. The choice of mode should depend on the location and usage. If you are unsure, please feel free to contact us.
Installation
The installation of the smart lock is very simple and can be implemented with the included 4 mounting screws or with adhesive pads. The lock is suitable for wooden doors, acrylic doors and glass doors of various types of compartments, cabinets and lockers. Please note that metal doors are not suitable, as this will shield the RFID signal and endanger its operation. Both left and right hinged doors can be equipped with the Master Pro.
Transponders
A white transponder card is included in the delivery. However, other transponder media can interact with the Master Pro, such as transponder chips, transponder wristbands or other transponder cards. It is only important that the respective media support the RFID standard MIFARE® Classic. Different roles can be assigned to the individual transponders on the lock: Manager card, Master card, Erase card and User card. Further information on the functions can be found in the instructions.
Battery / Power Supply
The electronic furniture lock uses a 3V CR123A-type lithium battery. This allows for about 30,000 locking cycles with regular use. When the battery is running low, an audible alarm sounds and the LED turns blue. If the battery falls below the critical range, emergency powering of the transponder lock is possible with the help of a micro-USB cable.
