Seaward’s latest Solar Utility Pro model represents a significant advancement in PV testing. With the integration of more effective 1500V modules and inverters, Seaward has met the industry demand for a user-friendly and durable tester equipped with 1500V capabilities.
Its leading-edge 40A current capacity enables the Solar Utility Pro to test parallel wired strings up to 1500V / 40A, streamlining the process by eliminating the need to separate strings to adhere to lower limits found in other instruments.
A single press of the Test button provides readings for Open Circuit Voltage and Short Circuit Current. Paired with the Seaward Solar Survey 200R irradiance meter, it also captures irradiance, module, and ambient temperature data. The generous internal storage memory can accommodate up to 999 complete record sets, downloadable as a CSV file to a PC for analysis.
For enhanced on-site testing convenience, the Solar Utility Pro comes with 1.5-meter long conversion leads that adapt standard MC4 leads to alligator clips, particularly useful in combiner boxes and junction boxes.
